4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Billing

• Payment is due at the start of each billing period

4.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

4.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused portions of billing periods

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Share account credentials
• Plagiarize or submit AI-generated work as your own for academic credit
• Use the Service to cheat on official exams
• Impersonate others

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first at legal@lumina-learn.com to resolve disputes informally. Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the State of Texas, and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Service notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
